Starting a new challenge! :D

So I haven't been playing games a lot nowadays save for Rhythm Hive and the Superstar games. Every Criminal Case game of mine got stuck and I 'm not able to start a case before it becomes unresponsive and automatically exits the app. Which is a pity.

Admittedly, I feel dumb. Dumb and unproductive. And I really want to make myself do something, so I made this challenge for myself.

Learn-something-new-every-day challenge

When a friend of mine one day texted me asking me about chickens and pregnancy, I researched it, and I actually got myself learning a lot about them. Explaining it to her was an extra plus. I liked that feeling of feeling competent again, because all I knew stuck at school level. I used to be a huge fact collector but I somehow lost that. Learning something new makes me feel more useful I guess. It helps me get along with people, gives me a conversation starter, makes me feel better about myself, just makes me smarter, etc.

So this is what I'll do: I'm going to wikipedia.org, and direct myself to a random page. I'm then going to read everything on that page. If I'm curious, I'll read even more links. After that, I'm going to write an article about what I learnt here. Try my best to summarize. After that, I'll link the blog post to my listography to see my progress. Let it accumulate.

I'll call this the Episteme challenge. I searched words up for name ideas and Episteme is Greek for knowledge. Moreso knowledge for theory, and not for application.

I'll start tomorrow lol.

I hope this does loads better for my confidence, because really, I dislike myself. When I'm most proud of myself is when I've actually gotten something done. It makes me feel capable, like I actually have hope to get into a good university like my mother wanted. Aside from that, hopefully it helps me gain an interest on something, so that I can be a step closer to discovering my ambitions and what I'm interested in. I could see patterns between what I enjoyed, and what was boring. Hopefully I read through everything though, not just what's interesting.

Well, that's it.

Well, stay tuned for the first post tomorrow!
